Artisan Dreams

The FNM at Home for May 1 was an Artisan event, meaning decks had to be constructed using only the commons, uncommons, and basic lands available on Magic Arena. I claimed my prizes in short order using this deck, which punished both Seasons of Growth decks, and decks that relied on Ikoria’s cycling cards to make a huge Flourishing Fox.

Even if you’re discovering this list after the event is done, the Artisan format does return from time to time, and this deck could still be a good building block for a budget mono-black list.
